🏠 Overview

Mother Rise Home is a compassionate, women-led emergency housing initiative based in Brisbane. Designed to respond to the urgent crisis of homelessness, domestic violence, and displacement, the project offers safe, transitional housing and wraparound support services to vulnerable mothers and their children.

Led by the United Nationals Women Association (UNWA Inc.), in partnership with UNCC and Leap for Lifes Inc., the project centers on dignity, empowerment, and trauma-informed care, helping women move from crisis to stability.

  • Homeless mothers and children

  • Survivors of domestic violence and trauma

  • Young refugee and asylum-seeking women in Brisbane

Demographics:
Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, low-income families, and female-led households.

Stage 2: Construction of modular homes, therapy & kitchen spaces
Stage 3: Launch of integrated services (security, therapy, meals, childcare)
Stage 4: Ongoing monitoring, evaluation & partnership development for expansion
