About Us

The United Needy Women Association (UNWA) is a not-for-profit, community-based charity dedicated to supporting women and girls facing poverty, hardship, and social disadvantage. Founded on the principles of empowerment, dignity, and inclusion, UNWA works to uplift vulnerable individuals through education, advocacy, and direct support services.

Our mission is to create opportunities for women and girls in need to rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency, and thrive in safe, supportive environments. We offer a range of free programs and services, including legal aid, vocational training, mental health support, and emergency relief, tailored to address the unique challenges faced by our community.

At UNWA, we believe every woman and girl deserves the chance to live with hope, dignity, and opportunity—regardless of their circumstances.
